Even wear

Interconnected central tread blocks with reinforced bridges ensure even load distribution across the contact patch, minimizing localized tread deformation. This prevents irregular wear, extends tread life, maintains peak performance, and delivers consistent grip on any surface.
Stable handling

A strategic combination of zigzag and straight sipes enables the tyre to adapt seamlessly to varying road surfaces. Zigzag sipes enhance traction in snow, while straight sipes provide superior stability during cornering on dry asphalt. This design maximizes grip, sharpens steering response, and ensures predictable handling — even during sudden maneuvers. The result is absolute driver confidence and stability in different weather conditions.
Confident wet braking

Stepped tread block edges actively disrupt the water film, while the advanced drainage groove system rapidly evacuates water from the contact patch. This keeps the vehicle stable and predictable in rainy conditions, significantly reducing braking distances on wet roads and enhancing overall driving safety.
Aquaplaning resistance

Wide longitudinal grooves and an optimized sipe network efficiently evacuate water from the contact patch, maintaining reliable grip on wet surfaces. This design minimizes the risk of aquaplaning, improves directional stability, and ensures precise vehicle control in challenging weather conditions.

Technologies

Optimal load distribution

Open lateral grooves, a reinforced central rib, and rigid shoulder zones ensure optimal load distribution across the entire contact patch.
Confident wet handling

A network of lateral grooves connected to circumferential channels rapidly evacuates water from the contact patch. This design minimises the risk of aquaplaning, ensuring predictable handling and stability at high speeds and during sudden manoeuvres.
Reliable grip

Zigzag tread blocks maximise the number of biting edges. This enhances traction, ensuring secure and confident driving on both dry and wet surfaces.
Acoustic comfort & durability

The precisely engineered depth and shape of the diagonal grooves minimise air turbulence in the contact patch, significantly reducing road noise. Furthermore, this robust design resists deformation under heavy loads, effectively extending tread life.

Birinchi Plant First. Technological. Powerful.

2019 — start of production

The Birinchi Rezinotexnika plant is located in the free economic zone in Angren, Uzbekistan. The production facility covers an area of 28 hectares and is equipped with modern automated machinery from global leaders in the tyre industry. The plant’s capacity enables the production of up to 3 million passenger car tyres per year.
Since 2023 — scaling up

Ikon Tyres unites three state-of-the-art production sites: Ikon Tyres (Russia), Tengri Tyres (Kazakhstan), and Birinchi Rezinotexnika Zavodi (Uzbekistan). Unified manufacturing and product quality standards have been implemented across all facilities.
Multi-stage quality control

The management system is certified according to international standards: ISO 9001:2015, ISO 50001:2018, and IATF 16949:2016. The products comply with EU-117 and EU-30 requirements. Each tyre undergoes dual-stage quality control: visual and automated. Only defect-free products reach the market. Tyres that fail inspection are scrapped by cutting through their sidewalls, ensuring no defective products can enter circulation.
Birinchi Rezinotexnika Zavodi today

Nowadays the plant produces tyres for passenger cars and commercial vehicles. The main brand is BARS tyres, which are fitted as original equipment on Chevrolet Damas, Chevrolet Tracker, Chevrolet Onix, Chevrolet Cobalt, and Kia Sonet vehicles. The BARS brand has a strong presence in the markets of Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. Key countries include the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Egypt, South Africa, the Czech Republic, Serbia, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Oman, Bulgaria, Greece, and Russia.

Rigorous quality control

Production adheres to strict international ISO standards, with rigorous checks at every stage, including storage and transportation, ensuring only flawless products reach the market.
All-season approach

BARS tyres are engineered for diverse climate zones, delivering consistent and reliable performance in changing weather conditions throughout the year.
Proven reputation

BARS tyres are trusted by automotive professionals. They are fitted as original equipment on new Chevrolet and Kia vehicles, and are the preferred choice of thousands of drivers for their daily commutes.
Extended tread life & cost efficiency

A wear-resistant compound and an optimised tread pattern ensure long-lasting performance while reducing rolling resistance and fuel consumption — ultimately lowering your overall running costs.

FAQ

How to choose the right tyres for your car?

Check the recommended sizes in your vehicle's owner's manual, then select tyres based on the season and your driving conditions.
Why choose a trusted brand and a reliable seller?

High product quality, proper delivery conditions, and correct storage ensure long service life and consistent on-road performance, making your trips safer and more economical.
Can you install different tyres on the same axle?

Even minor differences between tyres on the same axle can affect safety. Seasonality, rubber compound, and tread pattern directly influence handling, stability, and braking distance, especially on wet or slippery roads. For confidence and safety on every trip, it is essential to install tyres of the same model on the same axle.
How to check tyre wear?

First of all, pay attention to tread depth. The minimum legal limit is 1.6 mm, but it is recommended to replace tyres earlier, when the depth drops below 4–3 mm. You can measure it using a ruler, a coin, or built-in tread wear indicators (TWI) if your tyres have them.

Also monitor the evenness of wear: uneven wear can signal issues with balancing, suspension, or tyre pressure. Additionally, look out for cracks, cuts, and bulges — these may also be reasons for replacement.

Regular checks help extend tyre life, improve comfort, and maintain safety on the road.
What is tyre marking and how to read it?
Tyre marking is a set of letters and numbers on the sidewall that contains all the important information about size, construction, load capacity, and speed rating.

For example, the marking 205/55 R16 91V is decoded as follows:
- 205 — tyre width in millimetres;
- 55 — aspect ratio (profile height as a percentage of width);
- R — radial construction;
- 16 — rim diameter in inches;
- 91 — load index (maximum load capacity);
- V — speed rating (maximum safe speed).
Understanding tyre markings helps you choose the right tyres for your car, ensure safe driving, and maintain your vehicle's on-road performance.
Do new tyres need wheel balancing?

Yes, after installing a new tyre onto a rim, the assembled wheel must be balanced. It's important to understand: balancing is performed not on the tyre alone, but on the complete wheel assembly (tyre + rim), because even a new rim may have slight imbalance. Only balancing the assembly together ensures perfectly smooth rotation. This improves comfort and safety, reduces tyre and suspension wear, and helps maintain reliable road grip.
