2019 — start of production

The Birinchi Rezinotexnika plant is located in the free economic zone in Angren, Uzbekistan. The production facility covers an area of 28 hectares and is equipped with modern automated machinery from global leaders in the tire industry. The plant’s capacity allows for the production of up to 3 million passenger car tyres per year.
Since 2023 — scaling up

Ikon Tyres unites three state-of-the-art production sites: Ikon Tyres (Russia), Tengri Tyres (Kazakhstan), and Birinchi Rezinotexnika Zavodi (Uzbekistan). Unified manufacturing and product quality standards have been implemented across all facilities.
Multi-stage quality control

The management system is certified according to international standards: ISO 9001:2015, ISO 50001:2018, and IATF 16949:2016. The products comply with EU-117 and EU-30 requirements. Each tyre undergoes double quality control: visual and automated. Only defect-free products reach the market. Tires that fail the inspection are scrapped with their sidewalls cut through — eliminating any risk of defective products entering the market.

In 2026, the plant produces tyres for passenger cars and commercial vehicles. The main brand is BARS tyres, which are fitted as original equipment on Chevrolet Damas, Chevrolet Tracker, Chevrolet Onix, Chevrolet Cobalt, and Kia Sonet vehicles. The BARS brand has a strong presence in the markets of Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.
